revive ohio  ::  logan county | april 13-19

reviveOHIO :: Logan County is an extended outreach to pursue revival in our community. Teams will hit the streets to talk and pray with others, showing the same love and compassion Jesus showed when He walked the streets of Judea.

This is a week-long outreach that will launch with a community-wide service a 6:30pm on Friday, April 13 at the host church, First Church of God, 1000 E Brown Ave, Bellefontaine, OH.

The event is free and open to the public. Join us whenever (even if it's just for lunch) - wherever you can!

Saturday and Monday-Thursday will begin with prayer and breakfast each day at 7:30am and a short training session at 9:00am before hitting the streets for community outreach. Different area churches will host each day at noon for worship, testimonies and lunch. Afternoon training and team formation will begin at the noontime church at 2:00pm. Each day culminates back at the host church, First Church of God, with a free community dinner at 5:00pm and an evening worship service at 6:30pm. The Sunday schedule begins at 2pm at the host church, and then follows the standard schedule (view schedule).

In cities where we’ve invested previously, schools have partnered with reviveOHIO in a variety of ways. In

each setting the reviveOHIO teams distribute tabbed Bibles and Gospel wristbands to each individual as a

tool in sharing the Gospel:

  • Students: blessing the reviveOHIO teams to pray with students and share the Gospel at elective groups or during optional gatherings before or after school-sponsored clubs and sports; reviveOHIO has been invited to share the Gospel with marching bands, FCA groups, dance teams, cheer squads, football teams, volleyball teams, and several other sports teams and student gatherings over the last years—in public, private and alternative school settings
  • Staff/faculty: welcoming outreach teams to come pray and share the Gospel with staff and faculty in break rooms or during staff meetings before or after school
  • Excused Absences: allowing students approved absences (typically on a designated “student day") day”) to go pray for people and share the Gospel during the daytime outreach

Please contact Outreach Assignment Coordinator, Amy Harman (aharman@timetorevive.com / 937-564-5737), to further discuss these opportunities and develop a plan that is best suited for your educational community.

ABOUT

Time to Revive, a Dallas, TX-based ministry committed to pursuing revival in the U.S. for the last 10 years, has been invited to Logan County, Ohio April 13-19, 2018. This ministry (operating locally as reviveOHIO) will bring a team of missionaries and volunteers from across the U.S. to partner with local churches in Logan County. The mission of reviveOHIO is to unite local churches and equip believers to go out into our communities to pray for people, share the Gospel, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

“This is a shift from the traditional method of drawing people inside the church walls,” says Kyle Lance Martin, founder of Time to Revive. “We want to follow the example of Jesus Himself of going to where peopleactually are. This is a way to reach the hurting and the lost without cramming religion down their throats.”

reviveOHIO has already been to Allen, Auglaize, Darke, Fayette, Mercer, Miami, and Shelby counties as well

as Dayton. Participants in each of these prior communities have been greatly impacted! reviveOHIO has

been invited into sports team practices and club gatherings in over 50 public schools to be encouraged

with prayer and the sharing of the Gospel (Good News). Many students are now praying and sharing with

other students in area rival schools. reviveOHIO outreach teams have also been welcomed into local jails,

firehouses, police stations, recovery centers, nursing homes and many businesses during these revivals.

Hundreds of people have been impacted by the prayers, and sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; as well

as the follow-up / discipleship process that continues well after the initial outreach week is over.
